Site Quality Coordinator - Central Production Facility - Kuwait

1. You will be responsible for Daily Quality Control Tasks and assigned duties to ensure the food safety compliance system in the production facility2. Reporting & escalation of food safety and quality issues with regards to raw materials, work in process & finished products3. Should be able to control and manage the finished products which are made to Alshaya standards and brand specifications4. Monitoring of CCPs, PRPs, and GMP/Hygiene standards through internal audits and inspections5. Performing Verification of internal calibration for equipment on scheduled frequencies & validation of CCPs, refresher training to staff on procedures and work instructions4. Coordinate with concerned departments and help in customer complaint investigation and internal Non-Conformance issues and escalation of the same to higher management5. Support the Operations by the creation of Work Instructions/SOPs & Quality alerts; Education & training of staff using Toolbox talks (TBT) / Involvement with NPD in product development trials and training6. Should be able to create Quality management reports for complaint trends, trials, validation studies, and product complaint investigations7. Management of lab testing, creating microbiological & organoleptic schedules and chain of custody, and analysis of product testing reports8. In the absence of the Quality Supervisor, assume full responsibility for the QC activities and perform with minimal supervision.9. Generate suggestions for continuous improvements, Actively Participate in continuous improvement initiatives/projects within the department

Technical Skills Required:1 Versatile in MS office tools likes, MS word, excel, PowerPoint and access2 Able to create management reports using quality management tools if necessary3 Numerical ability, analytical skills, and critical thinking

Knowledge and Experience Required:1 Should have a good understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems2 Background in Food Science & Technology graduation / Food microbiology / related discipline with at least 2+ years of food manufacturing experience3 Knowledge of Quality Assurance, HACCP, ISO, and related quality systems4 Preferably Quality system certification in HACCP, basic food safety & hygiene courses5 Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems
